User Issues

Kimbeekitty is an illustration company who needed a way to show off their creations. The challenge of this project is creating an art portfolio that will showcase various different styles and colors without clashing.

Prototyping

Early prototypes focused on the location of elements and their functionality needs. After each iteration, there were new changes to be made that (mostly) improved the website as a whole. Through this process, we focused on brand recognition and discoverability.

Site Rollout and Iterations

After meeting with company leads, the website was published online. The site now being able to be viewed by many people allowed for greater visibility for issues in development. These problems were readily addressed and resolved.

Takeaway

This project gave me more freedom to discover that I enjoy working in a minimalist style. By having the constraints of many different artforms, I had to adapt to a simplistic color scheme that would not take away from the impacts of each individual piece.
